NAMCO BANDAI PARTNERS TO DISTRIBUTE ‘RACE™ INJECTION’ FOR PC ACROSS EUROPE


Updated and Extended Version of SimBin Studios’ Award-Winning RACE 07 Coming to European Retail and Online November 18th (UK, Iberica, Benelux Q1 2012)

LYON, FRANCE – 3 November 2011 – Leading EMEA distribution, sales and marketing company NAMCO BANDAI Partners is very pleased to announce an agreement with award-winning Swedish game development company SimBin Studios for the retail and digital distribution of RACE™ Injection for PC.  The title is an enhanced and extended version of the award-winning game RACE 07, featuring a wealth of new content.  RACE™ Injection will hit retailers across most of Europe on November 18th, with UK, Iberica and Benelux to follow in Q1 2012.  European digital distribution (with the exception of Steam and RaceRoom Online) is also being handled by NAMCO BANDAI Partners.

RACE™ Injection enhances the smash hit formula of RACE 07 by combining the most requested context from five separate expansions – Formula RaceRoom, WTCC 2010, STCC The Game 2, GT Power and the Retro expansion – into one new retail pack.  With the new additions of 23 unique cars and 9 tracks, the complete RACE™ Injection now features a massive 85 individual car models in 43 separate car classes, customisable with over 450 highly detailed skins. The powerful cars can be raced on more than 40 tracks from around the world with over 60 different track configurations.  Cars, classes and tracks can be endlessly mixed and matched to create unique and thrilling championships and events.

RACE™ Injection integrates fully with the RaceRoom online platform which features leaderboards and competitions to let racers join in and share the race experience.  The title supports multiplayer for up to 25 players online, with the ghost racing feature letting players challenge their own or their friends’ lap times.  With its real-world racing regulations, RACE™ Injection is racing as real as you want it to be.
