Beta Hot-Lap Competitions
Announcing the RaceRoom Online shakedown hot-lap competitions
As part of the RRO beta phase we will be running different types of competitions, allowing us to gather data and you to have fun and win prizes. Competing is simple, free, and above all it is fun.
The opening Hot-Lap type competitions will use the two cars found in "RaceRoom - The Game", the lightning quick Formula RaceRoom and the powerful Chevrolet Camaro. Throw them around Hockenheim as fast as you can and win shakedown prizes as well as fame and glory. If you aren't a registered user of RaceRoom Online, you can sign up for your free user account here, then download the free game here... and then get busy clocking laps in competition mode.
Compete in either the Chevrolet Camaro, the new and exciting Formula RaceRoom, or both! Run as many laps as you like, and watch your times improve. Prizes will initially be awarded only based on laptimes, but later in the beta phase there will be ways for even the newest rookie competitors to take home some great prizes!
The current hotlap competitions are to be considered shakedown tests and no major prizes will be at stake before the system, game servers, race stewards and anti-cheat measures have been thoroughly tested during the portal beta phase. By competing you are helping us prepare for bigger and bolder competitions down the line.
