Beta Hotlap Competitions Update

On December 1st we launched "RaceRoom - The Game". Coinciding with the release of the game we began hosting a number of weekly hotlap competitions.  The second round of these competitions ended on the 14th.  Competitions are ran using  "RaceRoom - The Game" which is available for free to all registered users of RaceRoom Online.  If you haven't already, register for your free account and download the game.

The curtains have closed on round two of the beta hotlap competitions.  With over 11,000 registered users, the game has seen our drivers accumulate what amounts to over 285 days spent in game.  Not bad for two weeks!  We hope you are all enjoying this free game, and the beta competitions.  We are proud to have your support during this testing period.  RaceRoom Drivers have reported a number of bugs, and other issues.  We want to assure you that we are taking detailed notes during these shakedowns and the things we learn will be carried into our projects currently in development.

During the initial testing phases no major prizes are at stake.  However In the first two weeks RaceRoom Members have won over 150 free SimBin games.  We began distributing these games today, and will continue to do so throughout the weekend.  Congratulations to all who have won.  If you would like to view the leaderboards to see who won, just stop in on our competitions page.  On the right you will see a widget that shows current, past, and upcoming competitions. Simply click 'past' and you can select the competition page you would like to view. Once again congratulations to all!

As we move into week three we invite you all to keep competiting.  RaceRoom - The Game and these competitions are only the beginning for RaceRoom Online and SImBin. We are closely monitoring every aspect of this beta period.  We invite you all to visit the forum and leave us your feedback. Be active, make your voice heard and help shape the future of authentic race gaming!
