The sounds are impressive! But are we also going to get samples of how it sounds from cockpit view? That's where most of us will be hearing most of the sounds... In addition, how will sounds from other cars mix with sounds from own car in cockpit view? :)

Not bad, good improvement over Race07. But not there yet. As I hear from the sample all the engine noises are on the same channel, therefore the volume ratio of the engine and exhaust is constant. I miss the stunning immersion of a 'vette passing by, as the side exhausts start to vibrate your chest, your ears start to bleed, even from a 100m distance.
Did you think about putting the exhaust and engine noises to separate channels, or is it too cpu intensive?

The p4/5 WIP story was a bit faster then usual, it will a little bit longer for a wip story this time around.

Our sound engineer just passed my desk and said that he made some improvements to the sounds on this car, to make it even closer to the real car, it was the same rumble you mention he found that he could improve on.
